“Art without fear”, is to move with power.  My dance like myself is black, a melting pot of beauty.  Strong and focused in the African Diaspora, elegantly flowing through the Caribbean.  My dance is as diverse as jazz, as rhythmical as tap, with a touch of hard hitting hip hop all fused authentically into contemporary.  To dance is to live life to the fullest.  Through my choreography I reveal my truths to the world. As Malcolm X stated, “The most disrespected woman in America, is the black woman.  The most un-protected person in America, is the black woman.  The most neglected person in America, is the black woman.”  This is my reality that I share with the world.  A black woman taught to love life, herself, family and others, only to move through a world conditioned to hate, neglect and ignore.  My reality pushes me to teach and allow young dancers a safe place to express themselves and find their voice in a world that tries to keep them quiet.
